Thank you all for for the advice and help.  The biopsy confermed precancer.  My thyroid will be removed.   Does anyone know how soon the surgery should take place, is it in & out surgery and how long for recovery? Thank You So Much...

But, when I get my blood test results this Thursday I will ask him to explain  the tests and what the results mean!   Thank You Soooooooo Much for your help I just wish I could answer your questions like "where it originates & what a-typical means"  Maybe you can help me to understand!!!   I feel so stupid!!    The surgeon mentioned doing the surgery next week.. I had Hurthle Cell Neoplasm. I had my thyroid removed and now doing ok. I was in the hospital for 2 days.

After my endo told me it needed to come out, I scheduled my surgery with my surgeon a week later and it was out 1 month later. My Endo said he wanted it out within 2 months so it was up to me really as long as it was out within that timeframe.

My pathology report came back benign!!

I think I may be going through a similar situation...When you say precancer does that mean a-typical?  I have a-typical cells in cysts?  Where does your precancer originate?  Keep us posted on how your surgery goes....
