can smoking affect my hypothyroidism?

I have hypothyroid since 2008 but im still smoking 5 to 10 stick a day,  i want to quit smoking but i cant. anyone can give me advise how to quit? thanks.

hi gimel, thanks for sharing some tips, last 2yrs ago i smoke 12 to 15 sticks a day,  but now it decreased 6 sticks a day improving, hopefully much better if i quit smoke.

Hi Paus.  I'm glad to hear that you want to stop smoking.  Smoking is so bad for your health and such a bad example for young people around you.  My own experience was to just quit one day and that was it.  Not easy, but can be done.  Of course the difficulty also depends on the type of cigarette and the amount you smoke as well.
