checkups

I have been being treated for Graves Disease about 4 months now. I have had my levels tested 3 times with this last time being told levels were close to normal so I was told to continue on medication and come back in 6 months for a follow up. Does this sound like a normal treatment? I just posted another question on the matter, but things are beginning to worry me as I still am fatigued and constanly tired, putting on weight and always bloating. I have told my doctor I don't feel all that good and about the symptoms but still I was told now I must be feeling better. I almost feel like giving up and going off medication to see if I might feel better. I am told my medication is not perm. Really I don't see the point to any of it?

6 months seems a bit long? if you're sensing that you want a test sooner, which would make you feel a bit better straightaway, just request the test. not sure what cost that is to you.
