Oh .. glad you are OK .. you had me a bit concerned with hypohell and everything you are going through ...... whew .. thanks for the holler!

I am doing ok on 88mcgs of Synthroid.  My last TSH was still not where they want it but I was hesitant to go up a full 25mcgs to 100 as I feel on the hyper side now vs. hypo so here I am at 88 and doing ok with all the thyroid stuff and scar in public, etc., etc.

I had my ultrasound 6mo followup and the nodule looks ok ... no growth since 6mos ago so this is good news and a relief as waiting in between tests sometimes can play game on our mind you know!

I am having rough time of the other incision above the thyroid incision healing properly.  There is a stitch abscess that is driving me crazy .. few days good and then the next all red and puffy and feels like a deep splinter and oozes .. I think I'll have to go back and have them remedy this thing .. the Dermatologist told me I may get one and it may get angry looking, etc. and to come back if it gets annoying enough .. OK OK .. now I know what he meant LOL .. IT IS ANNOYING ME and looks uglier than the thyroid scar!!!!!  A big red nasty looking bump.

I'm so sorry you are having a rough go of things .. I hope the time goes really fast for you to have your treatment ...... this is just awful and I feel so bad for you.  How is the energy today?

Thats what I had!!!! (the stitch abcess) mine would be throbbing and i swear everyone was lookin at it!!!
