getting what labs you had done would help alot. Also knowing a few other things may be good too.

Hormone issues?
Other meds?
any surgeries?

To comment fully we really need to know the reference range for your FT4 test and also the actual number for the TSH test.  Also, what symptoms have you noticed?

For info, low FT4 can contribute to symptoms, since T4 is converted by the body to the most active thyroid hormone,  FT3.  FT3 largely regulates metabolism and many other body functions.  FT3 has been shown to correlate best with hypo symptoms, while FT4 and TSH did not correlate.

If you will supplement with the above answers, members will be happy to assess and advise further.

Hi there. Could you please give us the exact lab range your lab used for your Free T4?
If it is low normal, there is a good chance you could benefit from very low dosage of sythroid or levo.
