Wish you luck and wellness. I had three nodules. Biopsy is not as bad as it sounds. I've had several types of biopsy's and this one was a breeze compared with others I have had. The needle is ultra fine so it's not so bad. My radiologist was great. He cracked jokes and kept my mind occupied on other things.
As long as it's in a good spot (most are) and that size it should be pretty easy and not too painful. Mine was 1.9cm and they got it first try .. mine was atypical and then after removal was benign.
Keep us posted and WELCOME!
C~
I have a nodule too small for the biopsy at this time-keeping a close eeye on it.
I just want u to know I'll be thinking about u tomorrow.
Stay positive.

During the fine needle biopsy the doctor will take a sample or two and send it to the lab for testing. The FNA does not take long and is not uncomfortable. It takes between 1 and 2 weeks for results (closer to 1).Good luck.
