I've had three done. Sounds gruesome and painful for someone to stick a needle in your neck, but mine didn't hurt. Just slightly unpleasant. Neck was sore afterwards the first time. Not at all the second time, and a little sore the third time. I suspect the response for most people after their biopsy is, that's it? That's what kept me up last night worrying about?
I too was just told I have nodule and need an ultrasound and possibly a biopsy. It doesn't matter if it hurts do it anyway. Not knowing is much more painful. My grandmother said, "honey put on your big girl panties and just do it" and remembering her saying that always helps me get through tough situations. Good luck, let us know how it goes.
