I was diagnosed with this in 2000, because of a stinking goitre aka fat neck. I have depression and I sweat like mad, always hot. Is anyone else the same? Xxx

Did you have hypo symptoms on the 125 mcg of levo?

You might talk to your doctor about dropping back to the 125 mcg for a couple of weeks, then alternate the 125 mcg with 150 mcg to see if a little bit lower dose helps with your sweating...

Did you have symptoms of being hypo before the dosage change?

Do you take anti-depressants?

I was on 125, now 150mg, I have had clinical depression for 7 yrs

Okay, let's forget about that for now... it sounds like your medication dosage is too high and that's what causing your depression and sweating/being hot.  

What dosage were you on before your doctor raised it?

You don't know if you can get copies or you don't know if your doctor tests anything but TSH?  Or either one?

Yes I am in the UK, I'm not sure what the levels are, the last test was 3 months ago, the doc put my thyroxcine up to 150mg, and I have to get tested soon

I just realized that you had another thread and that you're on 150 mcg of thyroxine... your symptoms sound like you might be over medicated.  

I see your last TSH was 11.  When was the last time you were tested?  Have you ever been tested for anything besides TSH?  How about Free T3 and Free T4?

Are you by any chance in U.K?

Can you please tell what you were diagnosed with in 2000?  

Also if you have current thyroid labs that you can post, we'd be more than happy to take a look at them and tell you what we think. Be sure to include reference ranges, because those vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report.

Once we see those and have more information  about your condition, we'll be able to be more helpful.
