help me understand my thyroid results

During a recent blood test for something unrelated my doctor discovered my thyroid was abnormal. My free t4 was 31.6, tsh was 0.02 and free t3 was 9.8 can someone help me decipher these results.

I meant to say those tests were so far from normal.

When assessing thyroid test results it is always best to compare results to the reference ranges shown on the lab report.  That is because the ranges are far too broad to be functional for many people.  In your case, those test results are so far normal that it is obvious those results show hyperthyroidism.  Are you having any symptoms?  

Since Graves' Disease is the most common cause for being hyperthyroid, you should get your doctor to run the definitive test for Graves'.  That is the TSI  (Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin) Test.
