Thank you for the responses. I have felt like I was just a whiner for years. I am a singer and my voice comes and goes as well. It is very frustrating.
I get so frustrated when these typ of post come up!
Why in the world do these doctors insist on dropping dosages so much when a patient is better on one ??
A TSH is a number and the patient is the one who has to live with it.
You body is screaming for the replacement medication it was on and b/c of a number - you need to suffer.
If the TSH is (in your doctor's eyes) too low - then why the drastic dosage change?
Yes I would call and urge him you don't want to go hypoT with TSH nor symptomatically.
Your not just a number.
Maybe you could ask to be put on .175 instead. Seems kind of drastic to go from .2 to .15 when there's a dose in between those two. I'd ask why there was such a drastic dose reduction and tell the doctor about your new symptoms.
Do you know what your TSH was and the range?
