low tsh, high t3, on cytomel, weight gain

Hello!

I am wondering if any of you health care professionals can shed some light on my blood work. I say my general practitioner today and was not happy with how he glossed over my symptoms and changes in my blood work. Here is the deal...in the past two months, I have gone up 4 sizes and have gained 15 percent bodyfat....I was at 8-10 percent year round for the last 5 years...I am an avid bodybuilder and gym rat. I have NO ENERGY and HAVE BEEN EATING TOTALLY CLEAN for the last 5 yrs of my life with little change. I was diagnosed with a thyroid (hypothyroidism) a few months after my last bodybuilding show...after all of my reading, I believe at that time I was in metabolic shutdown and that is why my thyroid failed....I did NOT FIGURE THIS OUT at the time and NEITHER DID MY DR and PRESCRIBED 15MCG OF CYTOMEL TWICE A DAY AND .25MCG OF SYNTHROID...I HAVE NOW BEEN ON BOTH FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS. Then...a few months ago, I noticed a fat gain again...so I know an unhealthy decision, but I started taking meltdown (fat burner) twice a day and started two a day workouts to try to shed the fat...to no avail, I just got fatter....I have NO ENERGY, NO SEX DRIVE, NO MOTIVATION...very unlike me...I am DESPERATE for answers!  Here is my blood work below:

progesterone-1.0 ng/ml (LOW, but in the lowest range)
TSH-.01 (WAY LOW...should be .4-4.5)
ESTRADIOL-17 (Low, but in range)
CORTISOL-15.1 (fasting and in the am, normal is 4-22)
t3, FREE-484 (WAY HIGH...230-420 is normal)...KEEP IN MIND I AM ON CYTOMEL...but does not seem to be working..I read about a negative feedback loop where you body does not use the cytomel provided to it...Is that possible?
ESTRONE: below 10 (Normal 10-173)
Testosterone, TOTAL-10 (normal is 2-45)
Free Test-1.8 (.1-6.4)

IF you can give me ANY medical insight...from a bodybuilders perspective...I am seeing an endocronologist soon...

Thank You!

Why are you on such a high dose of Cytomel when your FT3 is so high???
Usually the T3 med is 1/8th of the T4 med so its got me stumped why you are on so much Cytomel (T3) and hardly any T4 med .
Looks like to me that you have T3 Toxycosis, (drug induced) which is causing your TSH to be so low (Hyper) but I may be wrong.

I am a little new at this, I have Hashimoto's and Hypothyroid, I will be getting my lab results on Thursday to post here also, but I do know your MD is going by an old standard of the TSH as being in the area of 5.0, the new standards that is followed by most today is in the area of 3.0, by me responding it will move your bump your post up a little for other members who are up on the rest of your labs to respond to. Good Luck FTB4
