more thyroid cases

Is it my opinion ,only or is there more and more thyroid  problems ? just on my block there are 8 households with one or more thyroid disorders and thyroid cancer...just  thought I would ask......thank you

thanks , it seems more common ,all the time  but it shocking that there is not more research on better treatment for suffers

Plus ingredients in the personal care and beauty products (this why thyroid disorders are commonly affecting women and "high maintenance" men;
exposure to radioactive substances (NOT x-rays, but chemicals such as I-131 and cesium-137)
taking birth control and weight loss pills before age of 35
EXCESS of iodine (causes autoimmune reaction); not everyone require same amount
Perchlorate and fluoride chemicals

I'm no doctor, but recently I've read that studies found pesticides on food to be a contributing factor thyroid problems.
