I think she asked you that because your TSH is low low. Keep in mind when taking T3 - that TSH will dip. It probably was lower with your Cytomel too - but now with the ratio of T3 being higher in Armour - that is why she asked.
I think you have a good doc! - Your labs look good and if you feel weel - even better.
Keep tracking yourself each week and see if patterns start to form.
Thanks so much for the input. I talked with my doctor today and she said if i was feeling well then no change in medication as of now. She did ask if I was having any palpations which I am not. Finally, I haven't felt this good in a long time.
I agree that your labs look good -- sure wish mine were that good. Best thing is that you feel good.
I agree that you shouldn't let your doctor become alarmed over the low TSH -- I'm another whose TSH stays really low (less than 0.01) for quite some time.
Enjoy the "feel good"..
Since the most important thing is symptom relief, then I'd say your labs are good. If you had any lingering symptoms, then there is some room for tweaking, but as long as you are feeling good, don't mess around with your meds. I am glad to see that the doctor did the most important testing, for FT3 and FT4. The other tests for T3U TT4 and FT4I don't really add very much. I also hope that your doctor is aware that patients on thyroid meds frequently have their TSH suppressed in order to achieve symptom relief. Don't let him become alarmed that this means you are hyper and want to reduce your meds. You are hyper only if it is due to excessive levels of FT3 and FT4 and you are showing hyper symptoms. My own TSH has been less than .05 for over 25 years and never have been hyper.
