Hi, I have had Graves disease for 16 months now and when I first went to the Doctor to see what in the world was wrong with me, I was literally shaking when trying to write, my heart was racing 125 beat per minute when walking and at night rest my rate was 100 to 105.  I had bowel movements at least 3 to 4 times a day and I was hot hot hot all of the time, burning up but no fever. I experienced pressure at the top of my head, but not a headache.   I could not sleep more than a couple of hours per night.  I was anxious all of the time.  It was like 100 cups of coffee a day!  Once I was diagnosed, I was prescribed Inderal and Methimzole and the Inderal was immediate help.  It stopped my heart from racing like crazy and calmed me.  It took the methimzole a few weeks to kick in.  The combination really worked for me.  After a couple of months, I stopped the Inderal and only take Methimzole.   Best wishes.

Hi, when I was hyper only troubling symptom for me was nervousness/insomnia.  Felt as if I drank 50 cups of coffee per day, alway's on the go.  Amazingly my heart rate/blood pressure stayed in normal range.  I haven't experienced any thyroid related headaches at all.

Truth is journey is different for each individual.  Wishing you well :)
