The incidence of malignancy is 4% when a solid thyroid nodule is hyperechoic so the chance for nodule to be malignant is LOWER then statistical 10%.
this nodule can be followed up with ultrasound .

as i understand i will not need biopsy for my nodule coz its not yet 1cm over? is that right?
what shld be possible test for my hyperechoic nodule? MRI?

The heterogeneous echopattern [grainy structure] in most cases can be sign of inflammation process in entire thyroid gland.
The hyperechoic nodule [reflects MORE] can be either HOT nodule, or a sign of cacification.
Possibele next steps:
RAI uptake to differentiate between thyroiditis[low] or Grave's disease [normal or high]
Tersts for TPO,TG and TSI antibodies to rule out autoimmune condition
