Routine Check, High TSH Levels

I got some bloodwork done, routine, I don't have any symptoms or anything.
I'm 33, white, male, thin. My BMI is 22.5 but I'm a skinny guy by everyone's standards.
My test didn't involve T3 nor T4 since it was a routine check, but it did include TSH and it came back as 12 which is way too high :(
I don't suffer from any hypothyroid symptoms. If anything, based on my profile I would have guessed I was hyper, I'm the kind of guy who feels great in cold weather, etc.
Everything else came back normal, Cholesterol was slightly high but I was really sedentary last year and I smoked regularly so I couldn't ask for much. Lipids/triglycerides were low. Sugar levels were fine.
I quick smoking a few months ago and I've been trying to hit the gym to bulk up a little. I'm not taking any medications, I drink 3 protein shakes a week.

Please, share your opinions with me, I'm scared and stressed out to the max.

Thanks for your prompt response! yes I panicked because I wasn't expecting it at all.
Something I forgot is that I got 2% of atypical lymphocytes, it's probably unrelated but maybe it's worth mentioning. I just don't know.
My plan is to get retested in 2 weeks and include the tests you mentioned. In the meantime I'll try to rest calm.
Thanks again!

Not to worry.  TSH causes no symptoms directly.  TSH is a pituitary hormone that is affected by so many variables that at best it is only an indicator, to be considered along with other, more important indicators such as symptoms and also levels of the biologically active thyroid hormones, Free T3 and free T4.

The important thing is how you feel, which you indicated as very well.  At the next opportunity at the doctor's office, you should request to be tested for Free T3 and Free T4 (not the same as Total T3 and Total T4), along with TSH again to compare to the current result.  These tests will give you a good picture of your thyroid status.  Also, on the off chance that your TSH is possibly an early indication of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, then you can find out with tests for the thyroid antibodies.  These tests are TPO ab and Tg ab.

Again, no need to be overly concerned and get stressed out.
