need some answers

i have been compaining to my dr for a couple years now about pain, weight gain (30 lbs on small frame in 2 years), my mother has hypothyroidsm diagonosed years after she gained 50 lbs and is now down to normal weight. lupus runs rampant in my family. have figromyalgia since 1995, brother also has it along with lupus. my thryoid test was 2.5 last year, my gyny said to talk with primary care. finally went back and primary did test and my thryoid test is now 3.87. he put me on 25 mcg of levothyroxine, will check in 3 months. will this amount help me? i see in other posts its so small it wont help. i have no energy, in menopause, gained weight, lower legs are puffy and ache so much. dry eyes(eye dr. prescribed special eye drops last year), eye brows became very thin ove last 2 years. i have atrial fibulation. used to have low blood pressure, now its high, my cholesterol shot up 75 points in 2 years. i have every symptom of hypo, but i have a heart rate of 80 or 90. i just hope this 25 mcg helps. any info appreciated. thank you

this is a comment to my own post, i found this place by just searching. i have read alot of old post looking for anything. i am on my second day of this low dose. i am sooo tired, if i could i would just lay in bed all day, but i cant. probly a good thing anyway. i just would like someone to let me know if this .25 of levothyroxine is just my dr. finally doing something just to shut me up. he wanted to put me on anti deppresents, im sick of dr.s thinking everything is depression, i am not depressed (except for this exhaustion). so my question again, is this .25 enough to feel better, and when will i?? the only tests i know is my levels were 3.87 and thats all the nurse said. she was very short and busy and really didnt want to asnwer questions. just said its a very low dose and come back in 3 months. read my above post . thanks for any help. im looking for any encouragment or anything.
