I have suffered chvostek/troueauss crisis, blood transfusions because the hemo is affected and lowers dangerously and i believe drs. Take too long to address this er when a pt. Arrives at the er and says: "i'm having a hypothyroidism crisis, up to 2 hrs wait  2 b called for registration n another hr 4 triage in the mean time, the bones r crushing, the spasms r painful, sometimes even panic attacks because u feel your throat tightening, the anxiety agravates the situation, the tongue n lips numb w/ tingles, the facial twitches, hands n feet deforming. I learned that taking ferrous sulfate helps ease the tension in the throat and breathe easier because you receive oxigen.n folic acid while waiting 2 b taken care of.  If i'm wrong then what should i do?

The Chvostek sign and Trousseau sign are due to calcium deficiency.

Your message is difficult to read due to all the abbreviations, like a text message.  I don't know what "chvostek/troueauss" is.  

Your question is whether or not you should take ferrous sulfate to ease your throat?

What kind of hypothyroid crisis were you having?  Are you on thyroid replacement hormones?  If so, what med, what dosage and how long have you been on them?

Do you have current lab results you can post, so we can see what your levels are?  Be sure to post reference ranges with any labs, since ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report.
