pounding heart

It's been a REALLY long time since I've been here. Hope everyone is doing well!

Had TT last July. Been doing great, my numbers have been perfect since October. My family has been under awful stress but is hanging in there day by day.
I noticed about 7-10 days ago my resting heart rate is pretty high. We have a bp machine that gives the heart rate and I dont think I have seen under 100 in all this time. Theres times when my heart just pounds in my chest and when I check the rate its usually between 109-117.
Hubby thinks my synthroid levels are out of wack and I've gone hyper. I really dont have any other symptoms.....I dont sleep well ( that stress **** again) and Im not really hungry but Im also trying to watch what I eat and cut down.
So....anybody else have this problem??

Dart Frog - I've missed you!!!

Of course Cheryl and Dac are right.  It sounds like you are hyper.  Get those labs checked ASAP.   Watch for chest pains, shortness of breath, fever, or mentally being "out of it" - that's a sign that the levels are dangerously low and you need to get to an ER.

Call the doc on Monday and have him/her call in a lab order for you.

Don't be such a stranger!

OMGosh, it is so great to see you on here again.  Have had a couple of threads lately for the Chicken Club members we miss and you are always right up there.

Sounds hyper, but some ppl do this with hypo also.  The not having an appetite is a common hypo symptom as is the insomnia.  Definately need to get the numbers checked.  Make sure they do the Free T's also.  Am wondering if maybe this has something to do with needing T3 supplements.  I was having the same problems until I switched to Armour which has T3 in it.  Would be worth checking into Cytomel to add to the mix.

Don't know if you've checked any of the new forums out on here, but we now how autism communities as well as Asperger's.  I think I remember that's what your little boy has.

Am sorry to hear life is still so stessful.  Are you still having problems with the school?  Can you give up more of an update into what's going on?  We just miss having you on here a lot.

HUGS!
Dac

Oh my gosh, you've been missed!!  I saw the frog and thought, no....it can't be.  So happy to see you.

How long has it been since you've had your blood drawn to check your levels?  It sure sounds like you're hyper.  What's your dosage of synthroid?  I know that your weight has some to do with how much they prescribe.  Have you had weight changes?  If you've lost, you may be on too high of a dose now.  And the stress will make you not sleep, but so can being hyper.  Sounds like it's time to get to the doc, my froggie friend!

Again, great to see you if even for just a little bit.  I'm out of here for a bit, but will check back later.
