GERD or Silent Acid Reflux can cause a fullness pressure in throat. You might consider those as well.

Do you mean nodes as in lymph nodes or do you mean nodules as in nodules on your thyroid gland?

Have you had an ultrasound to check nodules on your thyroid to make sure there's nothing pressing on your windpipe?  If so, then I'd say your endo is probably right.

Often, anxiety produces the feeling of something pressing on our windpipes and makes us feel like we're choking - you know how it feels when you're about to cry?  We don't have to actually "feel" anxious for anxiety to be a factor... because anxiety is a symptom of hypothyroidism.

If you'll post your most current thyroid hormone levels and tell us what medication you're on, as well as the dosage and how long you've been on it, we can better assess your testing/treatment.  Be sure to post reference ranges with any lab results, since ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report.

Do you know if you have Hashimoto's?
