take syntroid at bedtime or morning????

which is better to take syntroid at bedtime or morning. read that you absorb syntroid much better if you take it at bedtime. that the difference in your tsh and free t3 will be  alot.  but will this keep you up at night? any one know?

I sent you a personal message to this Kvin...either way it made no difference to my levels.
But did bring on horrific nightmares so I went back to morning dosage.

If you need to take alot of other medications through out the day, then probably taking it at night will work best. That is of course making sure you ate at least 2 to 4 hours prior to taking it last thing at night. It must be on an empty stomach.
   Personally I find if I have mine later in the day due to sleeping in, I tend to stay up later in the night. Seems to 'kick in' a bit later in the day, and causes me to not sleep later.

Most people take Synthroid fisrt thing in the morning, but it all depends on what works best FOR YOU.  You absorb it much better if you take it on an empty stomach, although consistency is what's most important.  TSH and FT3 will NOT change a lot depending on when you take it, as long as you're consistent.
