I suggest that you should first get tested for Free T3 along with Free T4 (assuming that your T4 results was Total T4, not Free T4). Those are the biologically active thyroid hormones. Studies have shown that Free T3 correlated best with hypo symptoms.
Then with your symptoms, if Free T4 and Free T3 show up in the lower half of the range, that is pretty convincing evidence of hypothyroidism. That is because the ranges are far too ;broad to be fully functional across their entire breadth for many people. Also, just because your TSH is within range does not preclude hypothyroidism. TSH is a poor indicator of thyroid status, plus there is a type of hypothyroidism that is characterized by relatively low TSH along with FT4 and FT3 that are low in the ranges. It is called central hypothyroidism.
In addition, hypo patients are frequently too low in the ranges for Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin. Low levels can also cause symptoms. D should be about 55, B12 in the very upper end of its range, and ferritin should be about 70. I would test those and supplement as needed to optimize.
The most important need is for a good thyroid doctor, who will treat clinically by testing and adjusting Free T4 and Free T3 as needed to relieve symptoms. without being constrained by resultant TSH levels. Symptom relief should be all important, not just test results.
If you need help in finding thyroid doctor recommended by thyroid patients, if interested I have the name of one in NE Houston that I can give you.
