thyroid medication
are thyroid T3 medications, natrual or symtheyc, sucj as Armour, Nature-Thyroid, available pnly with prescrtpion in the US or can they be bought ovet the counter? I live in Guatemala, need them and anc can't get them with or without prescription. Plrease advise

In answer to your question regarding T3 meds, while there are sites online that say they sell cytomel without a prescription, I would never buy from them, because I have no idea what they are really selling...
There are also some glandular products that are sold over the counter, but they are supposed to have the actual hormone content removed and are simply ground up tissue.
In short, T3 products sold in the U.S require a prescription.

I feel hoopla with Hilary Clinton´s outright statement that she's on natural, animal T3. What a kick (in the rear) for those umpteeen docs who have looked at me blank faced when I have suggested this for the past six years for myself. I hope Armour flips up on Wall Street, and 1000s of frustrated patients confront their retarded GPs and endos
From your kind answer I gather it's only the natural T3 stuff that needs prescription in the US? Not synthetic?. In that case I can get a bunch of friends to send me each one blister of that (altho I'd prefer real pig) in a normal envelop by mail. Some must get through the Guatemala post service.
I find there's a version of Cytomel in Mexico called cynomel. I must go, hooded, to the smugglers' den.
The point of all this is I made six tests in one year, every six weeks, of doses changing 25 mcg a go,from 150 mcg to 3 months finally with NO PILL AT ALL. There was surprisingly little change in results throughout the year but my FT3 was always in the lower third of lab range (2.02--4.43). The best score by far was FT3 2.83 after 99 days with NO PILL. My conclusion was I'm not converting F4 (except when i'm not taking it!). 'Um', say the docs. 'Carry on with 75 mcg, come back in 6 weeks´

No, you misunderstand... ALL T3 products in the U.S need a prescription.
I would not recommend that you buy from any online site that says they sell cytomel without a prescription because you have no idea what you are getting.
