thyroid surgery for suspected hurthle cell neoplasm

hello,
I have surgery tomorrow if bed is there for half the thyroid out as is suspicious for above.Then if positive then the rest out in 2 weeks...cant imagine it at this stage.Poor others who have to go through this horrible scare.
I have had in 5 mths,2 biopsys and 2 ultrasounds and showing atypical at first then all cells oncocytic/hurtle cells in feb.I am 53 and have never had surgery on my thyroid before.Will keep posted,health permitting.Appreciate all your prayers and care.Nothing like going through it to know it!God bless all.

So thankful again for the many prayers and Jesus my healer there is no cancer.
Will have to be checked I guess...unsure whats next.Havee to have a awake cystoscopy soon for my bladder from early tumour grade 1 and burnt off in nov.11.God bless all and keep in touch as I want to hear from fellow sufferers.

Thankfully with many prayers from all over the world I am ok so far.The surgery went well although I have an infection in the lungs and on the skin near the cut.The antiobotics are working well and feel almost pre operation .Still having the sweats and upset tummy after food.The thyroxine is making me sleepy so I have it at night and am sleeping longer about 5 hours now and no heart pals waking me up breathless.Just had a blood test for the calcium level which was low before the operation and have 8 days of  tingling in my middle lips and legs, tummy, feet and hands occasionally now.Seeing the surgeon for cells results next week and pray clear although most of the cells were colliod and hurthle only after 5months..So helpful to hear from others who suffer the same way.
