missing thyroid

i had my thyroid removed in October.  I have been on Synthroid 112 mg.  Lately my emotions are all out of wack.  I am feeling sad and will cry for no reason.  can someone tell me if this may have something to do with my thyroid removal?

I agree that it sounds like a meds adjustment is in order.

Do you have recent labs to post...FT3, FT4 and TSH?  If so, please include reference ranges since these vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report.

Do you have other hypo symptoms as well?

Post your labs, and we can make suggestions on where we think your meds ought to go.

OH YEAH! The thyroid is the main "regulator" of all the hormones. Hypothalamus to the Pituitary to the thyroid to every other gland. I would say either A: you haven't adjusted to your meds yet. B: Your meds are not correct yet.

Hope ya feel better soon. :)
