winning?

I have been diagnosed with both graves and hashimotos and my endo says we will treat which ever disease is "winning" at the moment....hashi  is winning right now but graves is still doing a number on my eyes and skin. I am seriously considering thyroidectomy. Any thoughts?

With those test results I can see why the doctor said that Hashi's is predominant right now.  Are you having hypo symptoms along with the eye and skin problems?  What actions has your doctor suggested?

We have had members with both Graves' and Hashi's.  If you want to read about their experience you can enter those in the search area above and you will find a number of other cases.

Were the diagnoses based on tests for TPO ab and TG ab and TSI?

Why do you think Hashi's is "winning" right now?  What symptoms are you having?  What are your Free T4 and Free T3 levels, and their reference ranges shown on the lab report?
