Tourette Syndrome a forerunner to Bipolar?

I read an article that research is linking Tourettes Syndrome to Bipolar in latter years, has anyone else heard this?  I had Tourettes as a child and now I am Bipolar.  Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Hi there.  I happen to be on a pyroluria site today and it mentions a connection to tourette's and bipolar disorder.  Pyroluria results in a vitamin b6 and zinc deficiency.  Of course, I don't know if this will be the answer for you, but give it a read.  Also note that if you have this problem, you might not do well with regular vitamin b6 but P5P (another form of this vitamin).  Then research celiac disease.  Check into low carb diets - grain free.   Some people are helped with diet change or nutritional replacements.  Keep looking for answers
