5 days ago I took a hockey puck to the back of my head. It deflected into the bench, and I ducked but it took a bounce off the glass and struck me on the rear upper left side of my head. I had blurry vision immediately but was not unconscious. I didn't think much of it at the time.
4 days later I went to see a doctor as I still had symptoms and they were actually getting worse (headache, pressure in head, neck ache, mental fog, light/sound sensitivity, and nausea) and was told I had suffered my first concussion and whiplash.
Today, (day 5), I woke up with the sensation that my right ear was wet inside, and my right eye was bloodshot on the medial half with fluid in the corner. It wasn't steaming; just pooled there. All day my forehead, bridge of nose, and upper eyelids felt heavy and appeared swollen. My jaw is very sore as well.
The back of my head has a goose egg where I got hit, but I find it strange the rest of this is happening today, and on the front side of my head. What could be going on?
