Neurological problems / drugs

Dear all,

I do urgently need your help. I am a college student and have a very serious and concerning problem. I was unfortunate enough to be given a cigarrete by someone i know but without me knowing that, that was probably a joint of drugs / illegal substances. Since that day i feel like my brain is burnt, and my memory is affected, and my abilities to cope with pressure and life. Although i can read and write, i feel like there is stiffness and i also feel that i can't see very well. It is possible that the neurons in my brain might have been affected by that, and my mood is sometimes manic, and i feel depressed and tired all the time. I feel like my brain is so weak, that i see the world differently now and that is painful. I have always been a good student, and never smoked or did drugs with my cosent at least.

Please does anyone know what the problem might be, and if there are any supplements or medications that would help me recover.

Thanks.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You are feeling the withdrawal effects of the drugs. If you are still not feeling well—then you may succumb to taking drugs again for that pseudo-'high' feel. I suggest you consult a doctor. Take up deep breathing exercises and multi-vitamin pills. Eat healthy. Drink plenty of water, juices, soups, etc to flush out the toxins. And, undergo a medical checkup to see if there is any other cause.
Take care!

this was 3-4 years ago . i am not sure what substances that included, but i suspect that it was 'skunk' with THC enhancers or maybe cocaine. not sure.

Fear of not knowing what might have been added to marijuana is what kept me from trying it when I was young.  I couldn't smoke cigarettes because that smoke stunk in such an unhealthy way.  So learn from this and never use tobacco or other drugs again.  If you drink alcohol, never leave your drink unattended either.  Is there any way to find out what was the drug concoction was?  How long ago was this?  Without knowing what it was, it is impossible to predict whether this might go away in time.
