head and neck pain with feaver and rash!

Starting sunday night at about midnight I started to get a head ache.  By monday morning it was more than I can bear.  I ended up sleeping all but two hours on monday and am sleepy and groggy today.  I have no runny nose or anything or upset stomach.  I do have a low grade feavor of about 99.6 it comes and goes.  I have developed a rash on the upper parts of both arms.  My neck is a little stiff and hurts when I drop my chin.  I suffer from epilepsy but have not had an episode in over 6 months and have been off of dilantin for 4 months.  I am aggitated at times and feel all groggy and foggy.  and when I walk I am kinda off balance.  I have seen many suggestions online to what may be the problem but not sure.  Just wanted to get some opions befor I shot off to the er.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
With a history of fever, rash, neck stiffness, there is every possibility a meningitis or infection of the coverings of brain. Caregiver is right! Rush to the ER. A spinal tap must be done immediately and you should be hospitalized.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Shoot off to the ER. That's my opinion. Death is forever.
