Interpretation please :)

In my MRI (brain) the report said

"The gray-white matter differentiation is preserved with abnormal sign within the brain parenchyma."

Reason for the MRI was dizziness, ringing in the ears, and headache after another accident where i hit my head, this one knocked me out cold..first time i was 15 and landed on bk of head/neck after both of my feet slipped out from under me due to ice on ground.

Don't know if this matters, but I started having severe migraines about five yrs after this and I also have ADHD.

What does he mean "abnormal"?
Any cause for concern?

Hi!
It is difficult to say what the abnormal signal was, but given the history of head injury and the fact that you have ADHD, it can be a non-specific signal intensity change or it could be a change in white matter signal intensity due to edema or gliosis (a response to injury) or ischemic changes. The location, area involved and the type of abnormal signal would decide whether there is a cause of concern or not. Please consult your doctor regarding this. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
