Pain so bad I wanna kill myself!!!!!!

I was sitting in an airplane going to California from New York. I was trying to sleep and put my head next to the window. After falling asleep for a short time I awoke near the end of my flight to a pain soooooo bad that I was willing to jump outa the plain and die to make it stop. It was in the top right area of my forehead going to my temples. It felt like I was just zapped by lightning there and it was so excruciatingly painful I instently burst into tears. I kept myself down and applyed pressure to relieave some of the pain but it only got worse. There was 15 minutes left on the flight and the plane was desending but it felt like hours and I broke into a sweat. We landed and after everyone got of I also walked off and as i was walking I only focused on parts of my body that were feeling fine (to help reduce the pain) and eventualy the pain subsided and I was able to fall asleep in my cousins car on the way to her home. The pain continued to come and go over the next week but not as intense yet still pretty bad. A month later on my way back I experienced the same thing on my way home on the airplane once again durring the decent...but not as bad as the first time yet only one or two levels under it. The pain once again continued for a week before subsiding.
Im at home now and it has been 2 months but for the last 2-4 days the pain has started out dull and grown stronger. Only now am I putting research into it and looking into why this is happening hoping to find a treatment before the pain from the first incident returns. I don't want to experience it again, I would sooner die. Some one please, can anyone offer me help?

Sorry to hear about your pain.  I am having that type of pain, not electrical, but piercing type of pain in the temple region, but I have TMD problems and that may be the relation for me, as TMD, also causes neuralgia's, if there is nerve compression ect.  Have you had a hit to the TMJ joint during sports.  This can cause that kind of problem as well.  Look up on the web the missing link, trigeminal neuralgia and TMJ-TMD.  It may be something to rule out, and if not that, see a neurologist, that should be the first place to go, or an ear nose and throat (ENT) specialist.  Hope your doctor sends you to them.  If not ask him too... Hope this helps...

You think so? I mean it would make sense yea we have doctors for a reason but I always end up putting it of for some reason or another usually time related. But I guess you are right, I'll make an appointment to see my general physician for the time being soon. Thnaks for any help you've tried giving. I appreciate it.

Sorry but I can't get anything to work. No matter what medication I try it doesn't matter. The pain would subside slightly when I massage the area that the pain has spread too. Sometimes I tie a long piece of cloth against the area pressing evenly on the skin tightning around the it keeping my temples and forehead from moving but othertimes it just makes the pain worse. Once again it started of this morning at school and if I don't bring my grades up I lose my scholarship. I'm not sure if I should make an appointment with a nuerosurgeon just yet. Im hoping it's just an injury like maybe while playing sports but it feels so much worse then anything i've ever experienced before...im going to try tieing a warm cloth on now since I can feel the pain returning.

Sorry I just remembered or actually the pain reminded me after making me forget, the area which hurts after the pain stops will begin to hurt again when I touch it or when I tap it. Especially if I tap it and I push down it hurts a lot then. It'll hurt less if I pull the skin up or stretch it to my eyes but sometimes it also hurts behind my left eye and it really hard to focus on studying when I can't even open my eyes. Im losing hours of precious time because of this.
