ANYONE HAD SUCCESS WITH VITEX ? Please share your story.

I would like to know if anyone had any sucess with Vitex and getting a BFP after using it. And how long did it take you to get your BFP on it. Did you do something else while on it.

I am taking it 2xday and I also am taking Red Raspberry Tea. I have been on it for two weeks. I am wanting to know if anyone has had good sucess while on it. I feel so much better since I started taking it.

The vitex works for me to make me have normal cycles and Ov early and I have now been on them three months and I will be going in on tues to see if I get a BFP. I am having some light bleeding but it can be from the vitex or can just be that my body is going crazy. My AF has been lasting 4 days my temps have not drop as if I am on AF and in fact has gone up. I am not sure to whats going on. But DH thinks this might be it. I think that since my body is trying to get normal that thats why I have light AF and short one??
But I still stick by it and the bottle online at GNC is only $7 thats where I get mine from.

i've heard vitex can help if your progesterone levels are low (which can lead to you not ovulating). have also heard that you should stop taking it after you ovulate as it is used only to stimulate ovulation and that it can be harmful during pregnancy. a friend of mine at work tried it when he and his partner were trying to conceive (she used it ;)

i'm actually using a supplement called estrosense to balance my hormones (supposed to decrease harmful estrogen levels and !hopefully! increase fertility). it's a bit pricey but is supposed to be safe to use both before and during pregnancy.

I've read on other forums of success stories. I took Vitex one month, I regularly ovulate and my af is always on time, and this made my AF 6 days late and I was not pregnant because my temp had dropped and hpt were neg. So not sure if I should try it again? I've also heard good things about Royal Jelly.

I wonder about fertilaid? It's kind of spendy right? I mean you can get a jar or Vitex for like $20 from your natural foods store.

i used fertilaid while ttc with my dd, i heard its pretty much the same thing as vitex. we ttc for 2 months with her and obviously got pregnant in month 2 which was the month we started fertilaid.
just started it again for #2 and hoping it gives me the same fast result! there was a girl on here who ttc for 2yrs and the first month of using fertiliad she got pregnant.
good luck!!

hi sobie, yes id definatly recomend it, we tryed for 21months to concive, the month i actually fell pregnant was the first month i took vitex. i got "kira - agnus castus" high strenth. i took it from 2 days in to my period, up until the opk showed positive, (it showed positive on cd 14 and normally it doesnt until cd18) once the opk showed positive we used "concive plus" for a few days. i am totally convinced that this is how it finally happened on the 21st month of trying. hope it works for you xx
