Friend's miscarriage

My friend recently found out she was pregnant again. She has been worried about it since she miscarried last time around. She told me this morning that she thinks she may be having another miscarriage. My husband and I are trying to have a baby as well and I don't know what to say to her. I told her she can talk to me whenever and that I am here for her but it just doesn't feel like enough. Any suggestions?

I am happy to announce that she is not having a miscarriage. The doctor thinks that she may have a cyst, regular period or any number of other things but the good news was that the baby is fine and that is what we were worried about most.

If she's experiencing another miscarriage she'll need time for grieving, but also a good listener after a period of grief. She's going to need encouragement, too, to keep trying and to seek professional help if she hasn't done so already. There's so many ways to conceive and carry a healthy pregnancy nowadays, she mustn't give up that dream of having a family.
