Positive OPK

This is my first month using OPKs. I've been testing since CD 10 and finally got a positive on CD 16. (DH and I will be busy for the next few days.) When will I be able to test or expect AF? My last 2 cycles were 28 and 29 days but getting a positive at CD 16 means I'm ovulating later this month. This whole thing is new to me since this is the first time I've actually tried for a baby. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thanks!

thanks ladies for your responses. I just had my mirena iud taken out Dec 16 so I've only had 2 cycles since then. I was very fearful that my cycles would be all screwed up since having it. I wasn't sure if I should expect AF later since I'm ovulating later then I should with those average cycles. I would prefer to test after AF is due but I wasn't sure when I should expect it. Thanks again for your help.

i'm a 28 day cycle and i ovulate between cd14-cd16 you can test in 11-14 days after a positive opk.  there is nothing wrong with ovulating a little later as long as you are ovulating and have a regular cycle, i would personally test after missed AF i wish you loads of luck!!!

Hey if u hv 28 and 29 day cycle getting +ve on day 16 is late but still u hv 11 day luteal period which is not very ideal but still OK. Once u hv less than 10 day luteal period it is a problem. So according to ur cycle length u may test on 11 dpo. Gud luck.
