Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
High diastolic blood pressure (lower one-111) can result from obesity, diabetes, high salt and fat intake, alcohol use and from kidney diseases.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination. Take care!

You need to go to the Dr. like YESTERDAY!!!!  Blood Pressure is a silent villan and it is very serious. Yes you can have a stroke very easily and you need to know the symptoms and how to control what your eating and drinking. Also, did you just start exercising like crazy after maybe not doing so for a few years??  I'd wait and see a Dr. before you do anything in excess. Good Luck

Your diastolic reading (the 111 bottom number) is definitely way too high.  Especially with the symptoms you've been experiencing (the headaches), you definitely need to see your doctor ASAP and see what they can do about getting your BP under control.  I don't want to scare you, but your current BP readings could lead to a stroke.

Please see your doctor as soon as possible and in the meantime, I woudl suggest avoiding strenuous activity, such as training - the additional stress from working out could potentially raise your BP even higher, increasing your risks.
