3 weeks late, negative pregnancy test

My period is 3 weeks late, and I have taken test after test and not one of them have come up positive.  I am normally fairly regular, maybe off a few days.  I have been reading about it, and am learning that this is fairly common, and sometimes you just miss a period.  But when I press lightly on my lower belly on the left I can feel a little ball and then a line extends about 3 inches.  I feel the other side and I don't feel anything.  I am extrememly bloated, I look like I am a month or so pregnant, but with my other two the test was positive before I was done peeing.  I am just wondering if or when i should be concerned.  Thank you for your help

Hello,

Some of the causes for delayed periods or amenorrhea are stress and anxiety, malnutrition, depression, overexercising, sudden weight loss or gain (obesity),thyroid disorders and hormonal imbalance due to polycystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS).Smoking and tumors of the ovaries and brain may also cause absence of menstruation.I would suggest you to consult a gynecologist and discuss these with her.

I hope that helps. Please do keep me posted. Kind Rgds.

There are many different things that can cause you to be late. 1. Stress, if you are really stressed out your period will be delayed. 2. Started a new job in a new work area. Your period is trying to get in sync with the other women you work with. 3. You have a cyst on one of your overies. Which will likely need to be drained/removed through surgery. 4. Your overweight, the ball you feel is tissue built up. 5. Endometriosis, I have it, it's no fun it's often accumpanied by Dysmeneria, Extreme painful periods. If you haven't had any VERY painful periods disreguard Endometriosis.

Since there is a ball I would say pregnant or cyst. Either way seek medical help if it has been a long period of time.
