Back, hip and leg pain?

Recently I’ve been going to the GP over hip/groin/knee pain; nothing came up on the hip X-ray and now I’m waiting for a letter from the hospital as I’ve been referred to a section there as we don’t know why it’s hurts. However recently, along with the leg and hip pain, the top of my backs been excruciating. Although it’s had the feeling like it needs to click for months (around the same time my hips been hurting for, so around August 2017), for the past few days it’s had a strong burning pain which hurts when I touch the area, bend or if I lie on it. I don’t know what to do as paracetamol and ibroprofen aren’t doing anything and I haven’t been prescribed an pain killers from my GP. I’m 17, it shouldn’t hurt to walk or lay down.

i experienced something fairly similar not too long ago. i had bad pains in my hip, lower back, upper leg and groin. For over a year i had a dull achy pain that caused me to start limping while trying to walk (Im 21 btw). doctors put me on painkillers but it was no good. what i did to cure my pain was strength and mobility exercises. Despite the fact i play a lot of sport I found out that my Glute muscles were weak and the muscles fibres were contracting and causing pain in the surrounding regions. strength exercises such as squats and lunges as well as mobility stretches for the hip flexor relieved my pains entirely within a few weeks. I would also advise to check the arches on the bottom of your feet. if your arches have falled (i.e flatfooted) it can cause your feet to fall inwards as you walk causing pain in the hip area. Orthopedic In-soles can help rectify this.
