Bleeding from eye and constant headaches

hey im a 17 year boy living in florida for years on ive been having headache's and migraines but i dont know why and just this past wednesday i was struck across the head with a book on the right side of my head "temporal area" and from there on my headache's got worse and later on that same night my nose began to bleed only the right nostral and i couldnt sleep at all at night so i stayed up the whole night till it was morning time and time for school so the next day my head was still hurting at school an i was very tired so i slept an when awaking from my sleep i was still very tired so later on that day at night again my nose began to bleed only the nostral again but this time it was more and took alot longer for it to stop the next day "today" coming from school at my grandmothers house i blew my nose and my nose began to bleed again but only the right nostral so i put tissue in it to stop it from bleeding but it just wouldnt stop for atleast 5-10minutes so i go in the bathroom and blow my nose and when i did all i felt was a long stream of blood dripping from my right eye and my eye red and the tissue soaked in blood so i put in a new piece of tissue and wait for my nose to stop bleeding then out of no where my left nostral starts bleeding also so i run out the bathroom to my grandmother who was a nurse and ask her  what the problem may be she says she doesnt know but that i shoud see a doctor cause my eye could or get infected. my eye still paining a tad in my right eye do you know why this may of happened and what i can do to make sure my eye is alright and that im healthly. and if something maybe with my head is the reason for i also to stiches on the right side of my head from being pushed off a slide as a kid and hitting my head on a wood slide while falling, and the other running into a swinging metal pole at a park. please let me know your opinion on my situation.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Bleeding from the eye could be due to blood in tears (haemolacria) which in turn could be due to tumors in lachrymal sac, infection of the sac or due to bacterial conjunctivitis. Rupture of a capillary of the eye lid, any other vein in the eye rupturing maybe due to high blood pressure or due to infection can also be a cause. It could also be due to the blow on head. You must get a CT scan of the nasal sinuses and a MRI of the brain probably and an urgent examination of the eye. Please go to the ER immediately. Take care!

Your nose is connected to your eye via a tear duct.  That's why your nose runs when you cry.     Bleeding after a headstrike and a history of headaches is a good enough reason to see a neurologist.
