Hello, when i was 15 i went through a year of getting tonsillitis and cystitis each month without fail and each time i was put on antibiotics. The doctors didn't know what was going on so they kept making my antibiotic prescriptions longer each time (Previous to this i had had a yeast skin infection on my back and chest which i got rid of before i turned 15). When i turned 16 i had just managed to stop getting tonsillitis but around 2 months later (after christmas time when i consumed lots of sugary food and had just tried the pill for the first time) i started getting nausea, this would occur maybe once a day for about 20 minutes, but progressively got worse. almost 2 years on i am still getting nausea although now its constantly all day, i also get fatigue, headaches, constant feeling of dizziness and brain fog (just like when you have a really bad flu, I stand up and I feel like I'm going to fall over!) mood swings and acute depression, acid reflux, sugar cravings, white coating on my tongue, ear aches, bloating, occasional stomach cramps and bad anxiety because of it.
I have also been on the pill twice as i thought it may be a hormonal problem, although i couldn't take it more then a month because my nausea was made much worse while taking it.
I have had many tests to try and find out what i have but all have come back normal - i am on ranitidine for my reflux which does seem to help the acidy somewhat, although i still feel nauseous.
I read about candida on my hunt for my problem and i just wanted to ask if it could possibly be this? I try to keep positive but i am so tired of feeling ill all the time, its affected my social life (which is now non existent!) my college work as i struggle to stay in a whole day and i can get really unhappy at times. I haven't tried the spit test as i dont want to put all my hopes on it as i often do when im getting tested for something new.
Sorry this is so lengthy but any replies to this would be really appreciated, i've given up on doctors as they just try to pump me full of drugs!
Thanks :)
