Concussion?

I fell and hit the back of my head on a concrete hard floor 4 days ago. It sent a wave of pain through my skull like my brain moved and I saw stars. It hurt.! I'm not seeing stars anymore but I am dizzy and sometimes nauseous. My ears start ringing at random times. Sometimes not too bad but sometimes it really bothers me. My head feels really heavy most of time too... Should I see a doctor or is it just a minor concussion that I shouldn't worry about.???

I have to agree with geminigirl...if you are feeling unwell still after 4 days you really need to see a doctor.  I made that mistake.  I was in a car accident and I was not wearing my seat belt and my airbag delayed when it came out and I hit more steering wheel than airbag after I hit the steering wheel then the airbag came out and whipped my head back.  My car went over an embankment head first into train tracks but instead of calling the cops or anything I actually came to and drove my car home, somehow lol.  It was totaled and the frame was bent.  But I never went to the doctor and about 3 days later I was going out with a friend of mine and I wasnt feeling too well when I got into her car that is the last thing I remember.  Luckily, my friend was a nurse and knew what to do because what happened was my brain swelled and I went into convulsions in her car.  The only thing I can remember from that is waking up in ICU about 2 days later and i was freaking out because I couldnt talk or get words out.  My doctor said I was very lucky it was just my speech that was affected I had to do therapy for that and a little bit of cognitive therapy I really regret I didn't go to the hospital when it happened because I have brain damage that got worse because of not getting treated so I recommend you go

Any head injury should be checked out, especially one that is still giving you symptoms after 4 days.  DEFINITELY go see the doctor!
