Constant Lightheadedness for over a year

About a year ago, May 2016, I started getting severely lightheaded, seemingly out of nowhere. It got bad enough that I was afraid to drive and had to take off work for a couple months. I was more or less stuck on the couch, and the lightheaded feeling was there whether I was standing or sitting. Some days were better than others but the feeling stayed. I was never really dizzy (no spinning), but on a few occasions I had some balance issues where it felt like my body was tipping to one side.

I started with going to a walk in clinic, and proceeded to see every specialist I could think of - ENT, neurologist, cardiologist, and optometrist. I had an MRI, CT scan, EKG, echo cardiogram, and blood work done. Pretty much everything came back clean. The only things that showed up on my blood work were vitamin d and dopamine were slightly lower than the accepted range.

Towards the fall I started working part time days, and eventually went back to work full time. I can't tell if I just adjusted or the lightheadedness weren't as bad, but through the fall/winter, I was able to function more or less normally. It was always there, but if I was focused on other things I could ignore it.

Then this May, it hit me again full force. I thought the timing was strange, so I went to an allergist, expecting to light up from the allergy test. I've always had nasal congestion and shrugged it off as mild allergies, but, to my surprise, I'm not allergic to anything.

So this leaves me incredibly frustrated and I have no idea where to look next. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
