Constant and Severe Stomach Pain & Problems!

Hey, everyone! First off I am new to this site. Thank you in advance for any information and advice!

I am a 21 year old mother of 2. I am in constant pain. I have a lot of problems with my stomach. I have been to doctor after doctor but none can seem to figure out what is exactly wrong with me.

It all started out with me just having constant stomch aches and pains. It got so bad to the point of me seeking medical help. I have had ultrasounds, blood work, and urine test done repeatedley, but none seem to find the answer.

My stomach always hurts. It's always dull working into sharp and intense pains. It hurts so intense I am doubled over and cannot move. Pain sometiems shoots up into my right shoulder blade. The pain is always in my right side and can very from the lower side of my stomach to the upper part. It hurts under my ribs and even down to my ovaries.

The doctors initally thought it was my gallbladder so they did every test possible....but they all checked out clear. They cannont seem to figure out why I am constantly in pain. It's killing me. I am so sick of this. It's getting to the point to where I can not enjoy the things I used to because I am in pain too much.

If I don't feel like I'm going to puke, then I am in so much pain I can't breathe or talk. The pain is sharp and stings and feels like someone is stabbing me with a knife.

I also go days even a week at a time with no bowel movements. (Which I have no idea if its related to my stomach probs.)

Does anyone have ANY idea what could be wrong with me? I am soo ready to find a cause and try to get it treated! If you have any advice or ideas PLEASE let me know!

Hi I just read your symptoms and they sound very similar to mine.  I have yet to get mine diagnosed either.  I just went to the doctor a few days ago and they did a urinalysis and it was normal.  Now I am waiting on the results of the gall bladder and pelvic ultrasounds.  I too have pain in my lower right abdomen; feels like someone is stabbing me.  I have no problems with my bowels though.  I have noticed I am urinating more often than usual.  Mine hurts worse when gas is forming and trying to pass; it is so sharp and just horrible until I pass the gas and then I just hurt like normal.  One night my pain woke me up it was so severe; felt like someone was stabbing me in my right ovary; it lasted for about 5 minutes and then subsided, but I'm still hurting also and I've been taking lortabs 5mg twice a day until they figure out what it is and fix it.  I am sorry they have not figured yours out yet; I hope they do soon.  Are you still going to the doctor and having tests done?

I am having a really similiar problem. I've been having really bad pains in my stomach for a week now. except it spread to my right leg and the lower right side of my back. I've went to my dr and the emergency twice and they've done x-rays, urinalysis.. and everything looks fine.  I'm tired of this too. It does feel like someone is stabbing me with a knife and I can't enjoy my day unless I continuosly take advils (2 sometime 3 at a time) Another dr told me it could be a pinched nerve but I don't know.

I have the same pains. I think they may be strongly related to stress. I was having a marriage problem and luckily after discussing it with my husband and changes being made in our marriage my symptoms seem to be a lot better. I would suggest addressing any major stress areas in your life because it could be largely psychosamatic. Another thing that I think helps a lot is regular exercise. (5 times a week - cardio if poss)

I'm an RN. I will try to help you.

It could be gas. Gas pains are stabbing and excruciating. Going without a BM for days/weeks is not good. You get a buildup of gas and material. Start using stool softeners or mild laxatives to have a daily BM.

Try taking activated charcoal capsules sold in drugstores to relieve the gas. Charcoal is harmless, it will absorb toxins and gas in the intestinal tract. (Remember that they can also bind medications so don't take meds at the same time you take the charcoal.)

Good luck!

im having pain near the center of my buttocks and left thigh. though its not really painful, i cant help but worry. my mom died of thyroid cancer last 2007. since then, i became really paranoid when i feel pain. i went to the doctor already and he said he cant see anything wrong with me. he told me to stop worrying and enjoy my life. im 24 female. the pain im experiencing now is when im idle, but if im busy, i feel nothing. u think its more on psychological aspect? tend to worry a lot? thinking is really a pressure, it makes us feel something that does not exist. i had experienced headache for a month, many months ago, went to the 2 neuro because im worried. the moment they told me that i have no signs of tumor or whatsoever, i never pay attention to the headache. and thanks God, it totally disappears. enway, as regards to my pain now, i have no discharge or bleeding, my menstruation is regular and no bleeding in between. i just feel some pain in my buttocks down to my legs and feet for more than a month now. im always sitting on hard chair in the office. what do u think it is? pls reply.
