Hello - have had similar symptoms (dizziness, nausea, passing out feeling, etc) including aching in liver. Tested for heavy metals and the test came back extremely toxic including extremely high lead, arsenic, etc. Proceeded to do chelation, fasting and 4 liver flushes (look up info online or in books - these work even when gallbladder is already removed). That took care of toxicity and all symptoms are gone now! I hear so much about people with same symptoms getting well flushing out liver and getting the toxicity buildup out of the body.
Have they ever thought to check for nuerocardiogenicsyncope, that is a disease where when you stand up or even when your sitting you dizzy(not room spinning) what happens is the heart is not telling you that your blood pressure needs to be raised when you stand up or at certin points even sitting down. I had the same problem your son did and that is what it was. How they do that is by a tilt table test. It's a very boaring test. They have you strapped to a table for a 1/2 hour standing up straight up at a 90 degree angle. doctors and nures are in the room monitoring everything. Heart rate and BP. When they pass out or right at the point of passing out the end the test so it could take less than the 1/2 hour. I would call and ask about it. I am on medications for it now and I don't have much problems anymore.
OMG!!! I have been sick and struggling since my gall bladder was removed, too. Why is that? first I was diagnosed with chrons disease (it wasn't that), then pancreatitis (but still sick). It is an awful way to live. I think they are overlooking the obvious--but what is the OBVIOUS????
This is areally old post if the person that posted it in the first place checks back ever could you let us know what it was. I have been sick every day since my gallbladder was removed
Re your son's dizziness and nausea... This may sound silly, but have you checked him to see if he's just motion sick? I get this often and for a long time did not know what it was. Then I saw a doctor who checked my middle ear and said to me "Your motion sick. You have a slight imbalance in your middle ear that causes you to feel dizzy and nausea, like you would if you were in a car or on a boat." He gave me a meclizine pill and told me to lie down for half an hour. After the half hour was up, he asked me to take a walk around his office and let him know how I felt. The nausea and dizziness were gone. Meclizine is an OTC drug that is sold as 'Dramamine' or in generic form. In NYC, it only costs about $3 for a box of 12 pills. I really suggest this since it works for me. Your son only needs to take this when he feels the symptons.
Hope this helps.
Thanks so much - i did have a cyst over the winter time from going off of birth control - but my stomach pain is upper - so that doesn't make much sense. The past few weeks all my symptoms have gotten worse but also accompanied by headaches. I'm going in to see my doctor in an hour! Probably to run more tests and find out nothing! SO frustrated!
I have a 9 year old son who has had stomach pain/nausea, and really dizzy. He has had this for months, and at first we were told it was allergies, then lactose intolerant. But none of the explained why he gets so dizzy? (He said it is in his head, not the room spinning) He has had MRI's of the head, CAT scans of the abdomin, blood tests to the kazoo, now he is having a sugar test where he drinks a sugary liquid and they test his breath for a few hours to see if he cannot tolerate sugar (not diabetes). Since he has been so sick for so long, people are telling me that he is making it up. But I know he is really dizzy. You might look into Menieres Disease, especially if you have a ringing in your ear or any amount of hearing loss. They ruled that out as well. I hope they find out what is causing this, for both of you. Please keep me updated, I wish you well. ***@**** Laura
