Cough and temp of 95.4

My husband has had a terrible cough for a couple of weeks.  Hard time breathing.  He has a bad heart and 4yrs ago had double pneumonia that almost killed him.  I can not get him to go to a Dr.  Any ideas on what is going on with him and what I can do.  He keeps telling me he is dieing and I DO believe that he is.  He is only 66.

Thank you!  The only reason my husband is still alive is because everything we do is holistic.  He beat leukemia 9 yrs ago by using Essiac Tea.  The cancer ate his heart up and he was suppose to die 3 yrs ago but we found a holistic regime.  So he would definately try your solution.  Thank you so much

If his temperature has been consistently below normal, his heart issues, were likely preceded by undiagnosed & unregulated low thyroid function-which BTW is the largest factor in heart disease!-surprised?-
The cardiologist will never tell you this.
Low thyroid function causes diminished ability for cell repair, healing and just about any bodily function as it has to do with  cellular energy, or rather lack of .
When biological and/or mental stress does not get resolved, adrenal stress
develops and eventually leads to low cortisol levels.
Cortisol regulates the immune cells in our gut so when cortisol is depleted those cells become dysregulated, making us more susceptible to pathogens like bacteria, yeast, and parasites.
Add to this his pre-exisiting conditions, depression, side effects of meds, loss of faith in the medical system and other factors-what can anyone do?

Hope, that's the only thing that might get him to consider seeing a holistic practitioner at YOUR house! As grave as the situation is, there are things that can be done.
You need to find something or someone which/who will give him that glimpse of light in his life, so he can get a bit of motivation and interest
to carry on.
Anything is possible, even effective treatment, not only to alleviate his symptoms but to help him get substantially better, but he needs to really want this.
If he has an upper respiratory infection, look into oral magnesium chloride
-pharmaceutical grade-1 oz diluted in one liter of spring/filtered water,
to be sipped very slowly throughout the entire day and to repeat for 4 days.
You must clear this with a holistic practitioner-do not attempt this with his
medical doctor, as you'll be likely inviting controversy!

Hope this helps, but please note that my comments are not intended to replace medical advice.

Best wishes to you and your husband
God Bless
