Could cyclical vomiting be connected with Cushings?
I am undergoing tests for periodic vomiting, low body temperature, fatigue and muscle weakness and pain. Needless to say, I was 'diagnosed' with Fibromyalgia, because other tests are coming back negative.
So many of my symptoms could connect to Cushings - unexplained weight gain, hump at top of spine, the fatigue and weakness, bruise easily, slow healing, etc.
Does anyone know if this vomiting has been a symptom of Cushings?
Thanks so much for your help - these dibilitating symptoms have been going on for over 15 years! I've got to find a proper answer and hopefully a way out of this mess.

Cushing’s Disease can be diagnosed by simple tests like 24 hours free cortisol level in urine or dexamethasone suppression test.
Cyclical vomiting can be due to cyclical vomiting syndrome. “In cyclic vomiting syndrome (CVS), people experience bouts or cycles of severe nausea and vomiting that last for hours or even days and alternate with longer periods of no symptoms. Most people can identify a specific condition or event that triggered an episode. The most common trigger is an infection. Another, often found in children, is emotional stress or excitement, often from a birthday or vacation, for example. Colds, allergies, sinus problems, and the flu can also set off episodes in some people.
Other reported triggers include eating certain foods (such as chocolate or cheese), eating too much, or eating just before going to bed. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining and tests to confirm it. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted.

Cyclic vomiting syndrome(CVS) is an uncommon, unexplained disorder of children and some adults characterized by recurrent, prolonged attacks of sever nausea, vomiting and prostration with no apparent cause. Vomiting occurs at frequent intervals (5-10 times an hour at the peak) for hours to 10 days (1-4 most commonly).
Researchers are not sure of the exact cause or causes. They do not even know if it is a problem primarily of the brain or of the gut. Current thinking speculates it may be caused by some sort of neurologic malfunction or flawed stress-hormone activity.
So nothing can be said whether cushing’s disease can cause cyclic vomiting syndrome.
