Could this be acoustic neuroma ?

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and have many of the symptoms for 18 years.
Recently I saw ENT Dr and had hearing test, they have recommended MRI scan as I have worse tinnitus in one ear and is very loud, and I feel dizzy/drunk unsteady all the time and occasionally suffer from vertigo. Plus have slight hearing loss. I am in the UK and the waiting list for MRI is 6 months. Other symptoms that are causing me problems, but Dr

Hi Greatest sympathy with you I live in the Uk and I know its terrible waiting for mri scan dates. Have you tried just turning up at A & E ? Do you have a consultant who you see for  your fibromyalgia? Do you not take any meds for your migraine. Ive got a few problems like pain in the jaw, ear pain face pain and I know what thats like but I have been precsribed meds off my Neurologist for it.  Chris

Thank you for your reply. I do have a rheumatologist I see for my fibromyalgia, but I see him about every 8 months or so and all he seems to do is to refer me to another specialist who just tell me to try to live with it. They just put everything down to fibromyalgia and as is it is not curable they don

HI theres one way round that phone an ambulance you will get seen much quicker. Its awful that you have to do things like that but sometimes you don't have any other option really. Can I ask you is your rhemi sympathetic to fibromyalgia sufferes or is he from the psychological brigade! SOMEONE ELSE ON THE FORUM MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU RE WHETHER ITS FIBRO RELATED . pOST A QUESTION TO MYPROBLEM SHES WELL UP ON FIBR OR DEMIGUISE/STARQUEEN RE SYMPTOMS OF ACOUSTIC NEUROMA. tHERE ALL REALLY WELL INFORMED . sORRY i CAN'T HELP YOU. xx CHRIS
