Could this be caused by gallstones?

About a month ago I cam down with chills, headache and generally feeling ill.  I had had a high dose flu shot a week earlier.  I felt pretty awful for the next 3 days, but improved slowly.  However, I have had these symptoms intermittently along with stomach upset, pain in the upper right abdominal quadrant which sometimes extends across my stomach and to the lower back.  My appetite has diminished somewhat and weight has gone down.  I am making an appt. with gastroenterologist but wonder if someone could give me advice on how to manage these symptoms in the interim.  Thanks!

You can take over the counter gas x for the pain and bloating if any. Take tylenol extra strength for the pain. Do not take ibuprofen. Are you having any acid, heartburn etc..?

I have had acid reflux issues in the past that abated after being on medication periodically but not so much with the recent issues.

It doesn't sound like gallstones. Did you try the gas x? If that doesn't calm things down you should go see your general doctor.
