Dizzy, Forgetfull, and zoning out

My 16 year old daughter has been experiencing dizzy spells, zoning out, and forgetting things from just yesterday. She has already had a MRI, EEG and blood work.  All fine.  Dr wants  her to fast, draw blood, give her a special sugar drink, than recheck her blood. Seems Dr is at a loss, do you think they are looking for diabetes? she doesn't show any of those symptoms of diabetes.  Any ideas?

She's getting an Oral Glucose Tolerance Test, to rule out diabetes.
She should also be  tested for Candida-her symptoms are consistent with Candida-, something that doctors don't usually look for. Beware that sometimes it's missed in their testing.
You may look into having her do a screening self-test for Candida.
Search under "Saliva test for Candida".

Should she indeed get diagnosed with Candida, I think a PEG urine test
might be the next  logical  step (along with a comprehensive anti-candida protocol), to rule out Leaky Gut Syndrome, a common consequence of
untreated Candida.

I hope this helps.

Elevated glucose levels cause symptoms such as you describe.

They are ruling out an insulin utilization syndrome.

Generally oral glucose tolerance tests are not performed. these days. Instead a blood test known as an HbA1C is performed, which establishes the glucose levels over the previous three months. Not that there is anything wrong with taking the glucose tolerance test.
