Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Yes, skin lesions can occur in irritable bowel disease, but more in Crohn's than other causes of IBS. A Scaly rash could be due to atopic or contact dermatitis, psoriasis or even eczema.
In this case you need to rule out the cause for the hives or urticaria. Urticaria is usually triggered by allergens, such as drugs, foods, insect bites, inhaled substances, in response to sunlight, cold, heat, stress, exercise, or a viral infection. Other common allergens are pollen, mold, dust, pet dander, or cosmetics. Food allergies like to gluten and alcohol too should be looked into. You may need to consult an allergy specialist.
Since I cannot examine you and know other related conditions you may be having, nor is a detailed history possible on net, I have listed the various possibilities that should be looked into. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral to a skin specialist. Take care!
Thank you for your response. You're right, I shouldn't be trying to diagnose myself,my bumps could be caused by anything for all I know. Well I'm seeing a doctor tomorrow, hopefully I'll get some answers then.
We can not diagnose your bumps on the internet, but it sounds like you read a lot of internet information that could be not related to your condition at all. High CK can be after exercises. Just repeat the test. If it is still high, see a rheumatologist to check muscles.
